Logos is the mode of persuasion that appeals to the audience’s logical thinking. Logos is commonly used in graphic design as the visualization of statistics. When done right this can be a positive and very effective tool. Creating incorrect infographics can be misleading for the audience and lessen its persuasive qualities. Creating a purposely misleading infographic, even with correct data, is persuasive but it tricks the viewer into believing something incorrect. Logos relies on facts more than aesthetics.
